Changelog
What’s changed
Every release, newest first. This includes fixes as well as features — if a bug affected data you had already logged, it is written down here rather than left for you to notice. Questions about any of it: [email protected].
1.8.5September 2026
New
- The app is now fully in German, and follows whatever language your iPhone is set to. Nothing needs switching on, and nothing you have already logged changes — only the words around it.
- German, Dutch and French can now be picked from inside the app, in Settings, rather than only by changing your iPhone’s language.
Fixed
- In German, a sentence in Insights ran two verbs together. In the doctor report, German nouns were being forced to lowercase — which turned “Morgen” (morning) into “morgen” (tomorrow), so a report could suggest attacks cluster on a day that has not happened yet.
1.8.4August 2026
Fixed
- Content no longer runs up under the status bar when you scroll. On the Journal, Insights, Medications and Settings tabs it now fades cleanly beneath the clock instead of colliding with it.
1.8.3August 2026
New
- Time an attack while it is happening. Start a timer when one begins and close it out when it lifts, so the length is measured rather than reconstructed hours later.
- While a timer runs it stays on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and a new Attack timer widget starts one or closes it out from the Home Screen.
- Insights now shows how long your attacks actually run, your longest one, and the length that comes up most often for you. It reads every duration already in your history, not only the attacks you time from here on.
- The app is now fully in Dutch and French, and follows whatever language your iPhone is set to. Nothing needs switching on, and nothing you have already logged changes — only the words around it.
Changed
- “Still going” used to save nothing at all, which was indistinguishable from having skipped the question — so an unfinished attack was unrecoverable and silently dropped out of your average duration. The app can now tell the two apart and come back to ask.
- A timer left running is never quietly turned into a duration. If one passes 72 hours the app asks when the attack really ended, and “I don’t know” is an accepted answer: an attack whose length is genuinely unknown stays out of your averages rather than being filed as a three-day migraine that would skew them.
Fixed
- The full history screen could come up empty.
- In Dutch and French, weekday names in Insights began with a lowercase letter where the sentence needed a capital. Invisible in English, which is how it survived to here.
1.8.1August 2026
Changed
- The setup screen now leads with the free-trial option. “Continue free” is still there, and still skips straight past it, but as a text link rather than a second full-width button.
Fixed
- If you were eligible for a free trial, the setup and Plus screens could show the price before they had finished checking. The button now waits until it knows, so a first-time user is never quoted a price for something they could start free.
1.8.0August 2026
New
- A new Meds tab: how many of the last 30 days you took something, against the 15-day mark worth raising with a doctor.
- Rate whether a dose helped, in one tap, from the Meds tab or the entry itself. Rating is free — only the helped-of-rated figure across doses is Plus.
- Log more than one medication on the same attack. A triptan and an NSAID for one headache is now two rows, counted separately, instead of one.
- Medications you have typed before appear as tap-to-fill suggestions, so one medication stays one row instead of splitting across spellings.
- Insights lead with your strongest pattern rather than wherever it happened to fall.
Changed
- The daily check-in no longer reports whether the day involved a migraine in anonymous usage stats — only that a check-in happened, and the streak it produced. Whether you had a migraine on a given day is a health fact about a real day, and it should not leave your device at all.
Fixed
- “No clear trigger” and “Woke up with it” were being counted as triggers in pattern analysis. Either could be ranked among your top triggers, and both could appear in the severity comparisons — so an attack with no identified cause was being treated as though the absence of a cause were itself a cause. They are now excluded from every analysis path, while still showing normally in your entries and exports. If your Insights previously named one of them, that reading was wrong and will correct itself as the app recomputes.
- Medication added to a back-dated entry was recorded as taken today rather than on the day of the attack. It now uses the entry’s own date. This affected the 30-day medication count, the per-medication day counts, and the dates in the doctor report — and it under-counted rather than over-counted, because several back-dated doses all landed on the same day.
- Doses saved before this version keep their original, incorrect date. They are not corrected automatically: there is no reliable way to tell a mis-stamped dose from one genuinely taken that day, and guessing would be worse than leaving it visible.
1.7.0July 2026
New
- Editing an entry opens to a summary — tap any line to jump straight to it.
- A Home Screen widget for your last 30 days, with logging and check-in without opening the app.
- The whole logging flow now works cleanly with VoiceOver, and Insights load faster.
- After a couple of entries, the app points you to the triggers taking shape.
1.6.1July 2026
New
- Mark where it hurts on a rotatable 3D head — front, sides and back.
- An Insights card for the spots your attacks favour over time.
- A side-by-side comparison of Free and Plus, where you decide.
- Request a feature from inside the app.
Before 1.6.1
Versions 1.5.0 and earlier shipped before this page existed, so there is no written record of them here rather than one reconstructed after the fact.
